Jennine's funky junk. . .

Is shabby chic your style?  Are you unafraid of a little rust?  Do you combine rhinestones and denim in the same outfit?  Then you just might want to visit Jennine's booth when you come to flea.o.logy on May 5th. . . .

Jennine's first time as a flea.o.logy dealer was at our most recent sale, the one in January at Olsen's Garden Shoppe, where she did amazingly well.  She brought an interesting variety of items from charming furniture to industrial pieces to amazing smalls.

Shoppers were entralled with both the quality of her goods and her extremely reasonable prices.  The perfect combination!

Incredibly skilled at "picking," Jennine comes up with some fantastic treasures.

In fact, a few of the flea.o.logists have been "junking" with her and we'll be done shopping when she shows up with a box filled with finds that we never even saw.

Hmmm - how does she do that??

Chances are you will be charmed by Jennine's unmistakeable style.

Make sure you stop by her booth at flea.o.logy

(It'll be the one with the flowers adorning the rusty tools.)

Just a bit of flattery is all we ask. . .

We have a request for you, our blog-watchers/fan club.  Flatter us.  Lay it on.  Thick if you like.  Or just a little.  Either way, let us know what you think of flea.o.logy.  Tell us you love us, or what you love about us.  (Actually, what you love about it.  The flea market, that is.)

It's not that we've got big heads, really.  It's actually that my head isn't thinking very good.  I told Paula that my thinking cap isn't thinking very well.

<><><><><><><>
"Frankly, my dear, I love flea.o.logy more than you."

You see, flea.o.logy has been advertising in the New Century Collector, the Utah antiques newspaper you see in antique stores all over the place, for a while.  Dennis Barker is the nice guy who puts the paper together, and has always done a great job writing up flea.o.logy info for us.  So this time I thought I give him a break and come up with the complete ad myself.  Except my brain has been out on break.  And that's where you come in.  I need help coming up with a catchy phrase that we can put in our ad in the Collector!  (To be honest it doesn't have to be sheer flattery, just be honest - and concise - and tell us your thoughts!)

So -- fans -- let us know what you think!  In ten words or less, write up a comment that describes how you feel about flea.o.logy or tells about your experiences with us.  Or, if you're the wordy type, like me, use more than ten words and we'll pick out what we want to use from your entry.  Next Monday we will choose one of your replies to post in our ad in the Collector and that person will be declared the "lucky winner!"

And what, precisely, does being declared the lucky winner mean, you ask?  Well, the lucky winner receives the copy of Flea Market Style magazine that we have in hand to give away to a "lucky" flea.o.logy customer!  (And, if by chance the lucky winner already has a copy of FMS, we will substitute a lovely & desirable prize of equal  - or greater or lesser  - value.)

So have fun.  Remember all the good times you've had flea-ing with us.  And then find something sweet to say about flea.o.logy. . . .

"flea.o.logy is more fun than a bowl of kibble!"

So give us your best compliments.  We can take it.  We're tough.

'Cause we're the flea.o.logists. . . .

And BTW. . . thanks a bunch,

The Clever Craftsman is at it again. . .

Need a spot of color in your house?  Or how about a sign with a little bit of "clever" to it?  Then when you come to flea.o.logy in May you'll have to stop in to see Mike, a.k.a. "The Clever Craftsman."

Mike has been with flea.o.logy since long before it was flea.o.logy, and he's one of the nicest people you will ever meet.

Oooh. . . turquoise + metal = sweet!

You can always count on Mike to bring some interesting things.  Once I bought an architectural piece of wood from him from a Victorian home - just because I loved the shape of it. Maybe his cast iron grates (above) will call to you in the same way!

Love color?  Here you go. . .

Sometimes Mike's talented sister, Michelle, joins him in his booth, so if you see a woman "manning" the booth, fear not!  The two of them are valued assets to our flea market and we hope you'll enjoy what they bring to flea.o.logy on May 5th!

Meet Marsha and her Goodies too!

This is the first post in a series of the goodies that our flea market vendors are getting ready to come to our flea.o.logy sale on May 5 ...  This great hat decoration, along with others will be available in Marsha's booth.

She will be bringing a variety of these great hand crafted signs with barn wood frames.
She also makes jewelry from feathers.  The feathers are loving produced by her own back yard flock, and no birds are harmed as a result of the feather collecting and crafting.
Marsha is lucky enough to live in the land of amazing sunsets and has taken some great shots that she will be bringing as note cards, as well as some framed prints.

So if you live on the morning side of the mountain, like I do, and miss out on the amazing sunsets, Marsha is willing to share her sunsets with us all.

We are looking forward to more photos from our dealers so that we can show you more of the fabulous goodness that will be available at our sale ... of course there will be no pre-sales, we want everyone to have a chance at the best and most wonderful items available on the morning of May 5th ... See you There!!
