I met Molly a few months ago when looking for a display case for my booth at Treasures and saw this one from her shop in a KSL.com ad. . .                                                                           

I didn't end up buying the cabinet, but did come home with a few other treasures.  And the store was filled with more treasures that I would have liked to come home with.  And then I had a chance to talk with Molly, a friendly woman with a budding business filled with delightful furniture (painted all the colors of the rainbow), vintage housewares and decor, and a great variety of personal accessories.  Open since April of 2011, Forget Me Not Boutique has bright potential.  Please stop in and see what you think. . . Many of the flea.o.logy dealers are also dealers at Treasures Antique Mall, which is actually two huge malls filled with "treasures" of all varieties.  State your style and Treasures has it!  Managed on the north side by our "rustic" flea.o.logist and good friend Rosemarie, and on the south by Richard, who is always quick with a smile and ready to pull your leg with his quirky sense of humor. 

At flea.o.logy you'll frequently find items that you might have once seen at Treasures, only at significanly reduced prices.  After all, that's how flea.o.logy started several years ago (long before it was called such), as an outlet for Paula and her fellow Treasures dealers to "clearance" out their old inventory.

Another happy day!!

Oh how life gets busy!  I promised you I'd be back in a few days with more photos of the treasures I'd be bringing to next week's flea.o.logy, and a few days has turned into a week. . . .  And I didn't get quite as many pics as I'd hoped.  I guess you'll just have to come to the sale to see everything (wink!).  But here's a few treasures, hope they tempt you!

Oh, Happy Day!

One of my favorite quotes from Pooh Bear is "Oh, happy day. . .".  In my old middle age I can't remember which story it's from or in what context he uses it. . . but ever since I heard it it's become one of my own favorite sayings, just perfect for those moments which are ever so delightful or for those events which exceed their anticipated glory.  This morning was one of them. . . when I discovered a boatload of delightful stuff that will be just right for bringing to flea.o.logy in a few weeks.  Good junk at the flea market is fun. . . but fresh good junk at the flea market is even better! 

And I use the term "junk" loosely here. . . keeping in mind that I kinda like being known as a "junker," but still wanting to let it be known that the stuff I "junk" isn't necessarily "junk."  Now, some of it could very well qualify.  But some of it actually quite nice stuff that is only "junk" because it has been "junked" as a method of collection. . . in any case today was, by any and all standards, a very happy day for a junker!

So here's a little preview of a few things I'll be bringing to flea.o.logy on January 21st.  And this, mind you, is just round one.  I still have a few more tubs to go through and photograph.

And why is it I never notice the cracks until I get home?

I guess this one's for keeping.  It'll make a nice receipt catcher, don't you think?

Notice a trend here?  Yup, it's my good friend McCoy.  That bottom one's for my own collection.  The rest will make it to the sale.  Unless my collection calls to them first.  If any are calling to you, you'd better let me know.
