A BIG thanks to some incredible local merchants. . .

We flea.o.logists have been honored to be supported in our ventures by some pretty wonderful local merchants who have been kind enough to display posters and distribute fliers for us.  We encourage you to visit their shops and get to know them, as they are some of the friendliest folks (with the best merchandise) in the Salt Lake and Utah Valleys.

So. . . flea.o.logy would like to thank:

Denise Dubek of
Aunt Elsie's Trinkets & Treasures

1100 West 7800 South (Gardner Village)
West Jordan
801-561-5557
http://auntelsiestreasures.com/

Walking into Aunt Elsie's is like walking into your favorite Aunt's house. . . you feel welcome in an instant and you sense the warmth of the past as you tenderly touch the things you grew up with.  Denise has created an atmosphere of old-fashioned charm in this delightful shop that she named for whom, you ask?  Her favorite aunt, of course!

Remember what's old is now new and the chic thing to do! Recycle, re-purpose, re-love. . . .

Michael Sanders of
Now & Again

501 East  300 South
Salt Lake City
801-364-0664

Now & Again is downtown Salt Lake City’s hippest consignment shop featuring an eclectic mix of Retro, Vintage, Hollywood Regency, Mid Century Modern and Antiques.  One of the valley’s busiest shops, with new things arriving daily! Come see why the shop has been named “Best Consignment for Home Furnishings and Décor!”

Rusty Warren of
Vine Street Antique Mall

4854 S. State Street
Murray
801-265-0595

Vine Street owner Rusty Warren is, without a doubt, one of the nicest people you'll meet in the Utah antiques community.  Got a question about antiques?  He's also one of Utah's most knowledgeable, and is willing to share his expertise.  His shop is filled with a myriad of treasures, be sure to stop in and say hi. . . .

Kelly Ballard of  Second Hand Chic

2006 South 900 East
Sugarhouse

Kelly's lovely second-hand shop just off the main street in Sugarhouse is eye candy for those of us who love antiques.  Beautifully arranged by color with vintage goodies gathered by a collector with a discerning eye, Second Hand Chic always seems to have something you need.  From blingy jewelry to kitschy kitchen items to refinished & original finish furniture to luscious clothing & shoes to OOAK accessories for your home and yourself. . . you're sure to find your next must-have vintage treasure at Kelly's shop!

Molly Rees of
Forget Me Not Boutique

113 South 600 East (just west of Macey's)
Lehi
801-653-9919

I met Molly a few months ago when looking for a display case for my booth at Treasures and saw this one from her shop in a KSL.com ad. . .
I didn't end up buying the cabinet, but did come home with a few other treasures.  And the store was filled with more treasures that I would have liked to come home with.  And then I had a chance to talk with Molly, a friendly woman with a budding business filled with delightful furniture (painted all the colors of the rainbow), vintage housewares and decor, and a great variety of personal accessories.  Open since April of 2011, Forget Me Not Boutique has bright potential.  Please stop in and see what you think. . . I'll bet you come out with something!

Here's a little something Molly had to say about her business on her blog. . .

This is my passion.  I want to offer antiques, furniture, and home decor at a decent price.  We have a lot of talent here in Utah.  I have been led to many talented people who have become vendors.  They do incredible work and I am very excited to showcase their merchandise.  I'm excited to work with them, and I'm excited to bring these talents to one spot and to share them with you!

Treasures Antique Mall

1055 North 2000 West - South building

Many of the flea.o.logy dealers are also dealers at Treasures Antique Mall, which is actually two huge malls filled with "treasures" of all varieties.  State your style and Treasures has it!  Managed on the north side by our "rustic" flea.o.logist and good friend Rosemarie, and on the south by Richard, who is always quick with a smile and ready to pull your leg with his quirky sense of humor.

At flea.o.logy you'll frequently find items that you might have once seen at Treasures, only at significanly reduced prices.  After all, that's how flea.o.logy started several years ago (long before it was called such), as an outlet for Paula and her fellow Treasures dealers to "clearance" out their old inventory.

We flea.o.logists also love to shop at Treasures. . . often dropping percentages of our consignment checks right there.  Here's a quiz. . . which flea.o.logist (Paula, Cathie or Jen) now owns the steampunk lamp shown above?  (You'll find the answer in one of our blogs). Put your reply in a comment and there will be a little gift at Saturday's sale for all of you with the correct answer!

In the meantime, shop Treasures
and bring home a treasure for yourself!
